Articles 13 and 122 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003
(“Personal Data Protection Code”)
WHAT ARE COOKIES? Cookies are small text files that a server can save on a
computer’s hard drive that store some information about the user. They record user activity
and store preferences. Cookies assist in analyzing the user’s interaction with the site
through smooth and personalized navigation.
TYPES OF COOKIES USED BY THIS WEBSITE This site uses cookies solely to ensure
and facilitate navigation and enjoyment of the website and to collect information, in
aggregated form, about site visits.
Cookies The site www.descospa.it uses technical cookies. According to Art. 122 of the
Personal Data Protection Code and the decision of the Guarantor of May 8, 2014, no
consent is required from the user for these cookies.
Third-Party Cookies The www.descospa.it site installs some third-party cookies. Below
are details about these third-party cookies and links where the user can obtain more
information and request the deactivation of these cookies.
Google Analytics This site uses Google Analytics for statistical purposes only. It is a web
analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”) that places cookies on the user’s
computer to enable aggregated statistical analyses in regard to the use of the website
visited. It is also noted that in addition to cookies, Google also uses a pixel tag (Google
key privacy terms).
The data generated by Google Analytics are stored by Google as indicated in the
information available here: Google Analytics Cookie Usage.
For the privacy policy of Google Inc., the independent data controller of the Google
Analytics service, please refer to: Google Analytics Privacy Overview.
As specifically pointed out by the Privacy Guarantor in the “Clarifications on the
implementation of legislation on cookies” dated June 5, 2015, sites that use analytical
cookies for purely statistical purposes, developed and made available by third parties, are
not subject to the obligations and duties prescribed by the legislation (notification to the
Guarantor primarily) if appropriate tools are adopted to reduce the identifying power of the
cookies they use (e.g., by masking significant portions of the IP address) and provided that
the use of such cookies is subject to contractual constraints between sites and third
parties, which specifically refer to the third party’s commitment to use them solely for
providing the service, to store them separately, and not to “enrich” or “cross-reference”
them with other information they have.
The site owner has decided to utilize the user IP anonymization function provided by
Google (Anonymize IP) and has accepted the Data Processing Amendment (Google
Analytics Data Processing Amendment v20130906) made available by Google Analytics in

compliance with Directive 95/46/EC, whereby Google commits to processing the data
according to the site owner’s requests and not to share them with other additional services
unless the site owner requests it through service settings. It is noted that the site owner
has not linked Google Analytics to any additional service and has not activated any
advertising options or data sharing with Google.
In light of the measures adopted, the Google Analytics service, used by this site for purely
statistical purposes, is activated upon landing, requiring no consent from the user for the
release of related cookies. At the following link, there is a browser add-on for deactivating
Google Analytics: Google Analytics Opt-out.
Google Maps The site uses Google Maps. This is a service provided by Google Inc.
(“Google”) that includes interactive maps within web pages. This service involves the
installation of cookies by Google.
For the privacy policy of Google Inc. and to deactivate, please refer to: Google Privacy
Policy.
