1963 - The founding

Our history in the industry of food preserves begins in 1963 in Terracina in the province of Latina

Created with the goal of producing high quality preserves, the company has given life to its business with a wide range of products, then focusing and specialising on tomato.

The Serafini family

Founded and still today led by the Serafini family, passion and
experience have been handed down from generation to generation
in search of quality in the widest sense of the term.

Particular attention has always been given to innovation and to the
use of cutting-edge technologies maintaining a real commitment to
environmental impact.

Today, DESCO is a name recognised throughout Europe as a synonym of
product quality, top level service and attention provided to customers.

The goal is to collaborate with customers to develop and optimise the
processing and packaging phases, so as to formulate a “tailor-made”
product based on their needs.
