We have always been committed to obtaining the maximum result while reducing
environmental impact. Our focus is aimed at maximising energy efficiency and
reducing waste through a management aimed at circular economy to minimise
environmental impact.

Among our activities:
The skin and seeds of the tomatoes are reused as feed for the buffalo of the territory.

The vegetable waste is returned to the soil as a natural fertilizer.

The soil treated by the biological wastewater treatment plant returns to the fields
ready to welcome new crops.

The water used to wash the tomatoes is treated and recycled in the production process
with the purpose of reducing waste.

Most of the packaging can be recycled and/or returned, the tank storage system and the
relative pickup in tanks reduces the amount of packaging waste.

The use of intermodal transport (short routes on wheels and most transport on rails)
reduces CO2 emissions.

Latest generation steam generators, large surfaces of installed solar panels and
continuous investment aimed at reducing fossil fuels in favour of renewable energy
reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 type emissions.
